Note: This stone is one of fifty markers in the Confederate Section of Oakwood Cemetery
T. W. Page was paroled May 1, 1865 in General Hosptial #3, High Point NC . According to the register keep at the former Barbee Hotel which was a wayside Hospital he died June 2, 1865. the cause of his death was not noted.
The Wayside Hospital was turned over to the Confederate Government mid March 1865. Smallpox came to the hospital and the men who got this disease were sent to a "pest House where many died. It not known if he died of wounds from the war or from Small Pox
