Coady Hatlen, 15, died Thursday, Aug. 3, 2006, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, Ill.
He was born Dec. 11, 1990, in Springfield to Edwin and Margaret "Sherry" (Holley) Hatlen.
He attended Carlinville schools and completed his freshman year. He was a member of the Carlinville High School Marching Band and enjoyed genealogy. He attended Memorial Christian Church.
He is survived by a brother, Tom Hatlen of Carlinville; a sister and her husband, Tammy and James Pocklington of Hettick; two nieces; and several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Michael Albracht.
