Knox City, TX -- Mrs. Judy Rushing Clifton, 59, of Rotan, formerly of Knox City passed away Monday, February 15, 2010 at the United Medical Center, Wichita Falls. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am, Friday, February 19, 2010, at the First United Methodist Church in Knox City with Bro. Rob Harrison officiating. Burial will follow at 1:30 pm in Crowell Cemetery under the direction of Mansell Smith Funeral Home.
Mrs. Clifton was born on June 4, 1950 in Knox City to the late James Roy and Era Marie Mangis Rushing. She graduated from Knox City High School in 1968 and was the Valedictorian of the class. She had worked for West Texas Coupon center for many years and was a homemaker. She married Mike Clifton in Knox City on November 21, 1992. They moved to Rotan after marrying.
Survivors include her husband Mike of the home in Rotan; daughter Cindy Carver and husband Dennis of PK Lake; brother Jimmy Rushing and wife Vicki of Houston; three grandchildren Jordan, Ryan, and Cyla Carver; and nieces and nephew James, Alex, and Madison Rushing.

She had worked for West Texas Coupon center for many years and was a homemaker. She married Mike Clifton in Knox City on November 21, 1992. They moved to Rotan after marrying.
