Daniel Joseph Troast was born in New Jersey to Richard and Claire Koenig Troast. We all called him Danny. He was the youngest of 7 children (6 boys and 1 girl). He was so handsome. We stole each others hearts when we just teenagers. It was not long before we were teen parents. We thought we were just at the beginning of our new life when our son was born. However, when our son Daniel was only one month old... we received the worse news one could ever imagine. Danny was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Ewing Sarcoma. Danny fought it for a while but he grew tired of fighting and understandably quit his fight against a much more powerful competitor. Danny died when his brothers and sister came down from New Jersey to see him. Our son was only 2.5 years old when he kissed his daddy good bye and told him to go to Heaven. Those words will forever be etched into my mind. He was a good man and he will forever be missed by us all. I have included a tribute video I made for him.
