Funeral services for Dell W. Riebe, 66, of 731 N. 6th St., Manitowoc, who died Tuesday while fishing at Waupaca, will be at Urbanek & Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Claude LaClair will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Riebe was born July 27, 1899 at Merrill, Wis., son of the late August & Pauline Schultz Riebe. He married Sophie Tadych Jan. 30, 1927 at Manitowoc. He is superintendent of Marine construction for McMillen & Pitz Construction Co., Manitowoc for more than 30 years. He was a member of Manitowoc Co. Fish & Game Protective Assn. & Carpenters and Joiners local.
Surviving are his wife, 6 sons, Donald, Paul Curtis, Dell & Larry of Manitowoc & Kenneth with the Air Force in London, 4 daughters June (John) Boswell, Oconto Falls, Joan (Joseph) Kennedy of El Cajon Cal. Sister Mary Frencette of Neenah, & Mrs. Lynn (Ronald) Karnitz of Sheboygan, a brother Henry, 2 sisters, Mrs. G.Schneider of Green Bay & Mrs.G. Kinner of Phelps & 14 grandchildren
