Lynn was born in Floral Park,New York.His
family later moved to Honeoye Falls,where he
attended and graduated from Honeoye High
School with the Class of 1963.Lynn attended
Rochester Institute of Technology during 1963.
He enlisted in the Marines 16 January 1964 at
the Buffalo Recruiting Office.

When Lynn arrived in Vietnam he was assigned
to H&S Company,2nd Battalion,3rd Marine
Regiment,3rd Marine Division.
Lynn died as a result of gunshot wounds to the
left thigh,right elbow and abdomen from an
accidental discharge of a fire-arm by another
Marine in the vicinity of Dai Loc (Ai Nghia).
Official cause of death was due to accidental
homicide.
Lynn was single and served his country for 2
years,9 months and 26 days.KIA#7,500.
Tour of duty unknown.He had been in Vietnam
for about 8 months.
Lynn was 21 years,7 months and 27 days old.

Bachmann Sr of 45 Maplewood Ave,Honeoye
Falls,NY.
His sister;Ann Mary Hackner and a brother;
Edwin T Bachmann with the Marine Corps.
