Edgewood News:

Matthew McCabe and Elizabeth Lucey and Lloyd Funk and Anna Lucey were married at St. John’s church last Monday.

--Anna Funk, 73, of Edgewood was killed about 2:30 p.m. Friday when run over by a truck in the driveway of her home here.
--Authorities said Mrs. Funk's brother-in-law, Martin Funk, about 80, of Rapid City, S.D., was attempting to start the truck in the garage when it slipped into reverse and backed up.
--Mrs. Funk's sister, Katherine Lucy, who was standing beside Mrs. Funk in the driveway of the garage, managed to jump out of the way. She suffered minor injuries.
--The body was taken to Appleton's funeral home. Survivors include four sons, Dick and Thomas of Edgewood, John of Elkader, and Frank.
--Services will be Monday at 10 in St. Mark's church.

According to the 1930 Census Anna and Lloyd Funk had an adopted son. His name was James Baker, born about 1915 in South Dakota.
