Obituary: "George N. Kelsey, 84, RFD 1, West Mansfield, a retired farmer, died Monday at 5:15pm at Mary Rutan Hospital where he was admitted on December 13. Born June 9, 1884 in Jay County, Indiana, he was a son of William and Melva Filler Kelsey. He was married on September 6, 1905 to Ivaloo Reed and her death occurred June 17, 1966. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of East Liberty. Following his retirement from farming he had been employed by the T. C. Vanica Co., Inc., here as a helper. Surviving are three sons: Harold Kelsey, 1109 Greenwood Street; Carroll Kelsey, Richmond, Indiana; and Gerald Kelsey, Troy; three daughters: Mrs. John (Reita) Van Hyning, Lima; Mrs. Lowell (Thelma) Isenbarger, Troy; and Mrs. Harland (Erma) Jolliff, Byhalia; 22 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. A daughter died in infancy. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2pm at the Kennedy Funeral Home with Reverend Harold Kochersperger in charge. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery, Marysville. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7-9pm on Wednesday and from 2-4 and from 7-9pm on Thursday."
