Wanda Mae Cooper, 82, was preceded in death by her husband, Frank L. Cooper; father, Willard Vance; mother, Fleta Mae Vance; grandson, C.J. Hill; and great granddaughter, Ashley Bell. Survived by daughter, Carol Odom and husband, Bill of Spring, Texas; son, Michael Cooper and wife, Kay of Houston; son, Frankie Cooper of San Antonio; six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services were held Friday, February 29, 2008 at Gateway Baptist Church, with Rev. Rick Fowlkes officiating. Interment followed at Woodlawn Cemetery in Houston, Texas. A special thanks to the caregivers of Houston Hospice.
