--ROCK HILL - Mrs. Cheryl Caulder Gardner, 63, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010, at her home.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 13, 2010, at First Assembly of God, with the Rev. Bernie Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park on Cherry Road.

A native of Marion, S.C., Mrs. Gardner was the daughter of the late John and Myrtle Caulder. She was retired from Mercy South Hospital in Pineville, N.C., and she collected baby dolls and bells. She was a member of First Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tina Gibbs.

Surviving are her husband, Johnnie B. Gardner Sr.; her sons, Johnnie B. Gardner Jr. of Rock Hill and Timothy Bare of Wilmington, N.C.; her daughters, Betsy Bare, Darlene Price and Angel Dean, all of Rock Hill and Lisa Boykin of Clover; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from noon to 1:30 p.m. (prior to the service) on Monday, Dec. 13, 2010, at the church.

Memorials may be made in Mrs. Gardner's name to First Assembly of God, Benevolence Fund, PO Box 2581, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
