James L. “Jimmy” Goddard, 84, of Hinton went home to be with the Lord Thursday October 2, 2014 at Bowers Hospice House following a long illness.
Born March 9, 1930 in Summers Co. he was the son of the late Ashby W. and Elby Daniels Goddard.
He was a former orderly at the Hinton Hospital and stock worker for Simmons Foodland in Hinton, James enjoyed farming, sewing, spending time with family and friends and attending church at The Hinton Church of Christ as long as his health permitted. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Preceded in death by his sister-in-law Marcia Wickline.
Internment was in the Daniels Cemetery on Williams Mountain.
