Dauberville, March 9 – Howard W. Miller, 71, died yesterday in the home of his son, Guy Miller, this place.

Born in Bethel Township, he was a son of the late Serenus and Emma (Snyder) Miller. His wife, Lillie (Bare) Miler, died in 1950.

Surviving are 10 children: Guy, at whose home he died; John, Reading; Lester, Willis, Paul, Florence, wife of Lewis Blatt; Ralph and Carl, all of Lebanon; Margaret, wife of Charles Bricker, Bernville R.D. 2, and Sarah, wife of Richard Strause, Rehrersburg; a stepson, Evan Long, Fleetwood; 25 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 5 brothers and a sister: Claude, Mount Aetna; Charles, Spring Crest; Harry, Lebanon R.D.; Samuel, Richland R.D. 1; Roy, Stouchsburg, and Lydia, wife of Ralph Savage, Palmyra R.D.

Services Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Schucker Funeral Home, Rehrersburg, the Rev. Fred S. Blank officiating. Burial in New Union Cemetery, Rehrersburg.
