Joe was a mechanic at Bemis Paper Bag Company in Wilmington, California for forty years. Joe was married to Connie for 40 years; they lived in Wilmington and Carson California. He had two sons, Bob and Ray. He also had three grandchildren, Steve, Tony and Angela Calciano. He joined the Navy in 1929 leaving his home in Yonkers, New York for the last time. He was drafted in the Army in 1942. Joe liked taking weekend trips with his son Bob and grandchildren. Joe was a good man, husband, dad and grandfather.

He is survived by...three brothers. Michael and Sal of Yonkers, and Joseph* of California, two sisters, Mildred Palladino and Mary DeSpirito, also of Yonkers.
