Successors Named
Two personnel changes have been
announced by Nekoosa-Edwards Pa-
per company, involving retirement
of two veteran employes and ap-
pointment of their successors.
Marvin J. Prosser has been named
to succeed James J. Mlsna as su-
perintendent of power at Nekoosa,
while George Monson is the new
foreman of the Nekoosa electrical
crew, replacing Jack Forbes.
Mlsna entered service with Nepco
in 1901, at the age of 19,
achieving a record of 48 years without
a lost-time accident. He served
for 13 years as president of the Ne-
koosa Foremen's Safety club. He
has held public office as councilman
and mayor of Nekoosa, and has
been a member of the volunteer fire
department for 31 years, the last
16 as chief....

J. Mlsna 84, one of the city's
leading business men and for
32 years Nekoosa fire chief,
died Friday.
Mlsna operated his own elec-
trical and plumbing business for
more than 60 years. He was one
of the founders and a longtime
director of the Nekoosa State
Bank.
Funeral services will be held
Monday morning at the Sacred
Heart Roman Catholic Church.
