Divinity "Kitty", was the most prescious cat that I have ever owned (also my first pet). My parents surprised me with her for Christmas when I was 8. She was the best Christmas gift I ever received as a child. My parents found her through a friend who took in stray cats and found them loving homes. Each cat was named after a type of candy (carmel, sugar, cinnamon etc). Because she was white, they named her Divinity after the white dessert.
Years later, she had to have surgery for a few things that were wrong with her. The vet told us she would wake soon and told us to take her home. Six hours later I found her not breathing. She sadly, never awoke from anesthesia after having a surgery.

I have very fond memories of her. Divinity had the most beautiful white fur and was such a loving animal. I could carry her around like a little kid and she would put her arms around my neck.

The morning before my daughter died, I saw a white kitten walking in front of the hospital (which is not located in a residential area). I would like to think Divinity is playing with my little girl.
