This was our cat. He was absolutely the sweetest cat that ever was. He was so mild natured and was friendly to everyone. The neighborhood kids used to come over and visit him because they liked him so well. He was never mean to anyone, always really mellow.
People say that a cat chooses you. They must be right. He started his life at a home across the alley from us, and then began spending all his time at our house. I had to tell the neighbors that we 'stole' their cat and he was staying with us. They laughed and said "he's happier there so you can have him." He never left us.
We live in a small town and Kitty was not going to be one of those cats that you seen run over in the street. We watched him and every time he crossed the neighborhood street, he would always look both ways before he trotted across the street.
He liked my husband, but he was 'my baby' and always by me. When I was dealing with some long term illness issues, this cat was right there with me. Even later, when I recovered, He always sensed when I was was ill or having a bad day and stayed right next to me. Spending hours on the foot of the bed when he knew I was unable to get out of it.
I will never own another cat as wonderful as this cat and I will never ever forget him. His paw prints are all over my heart, and my tears for his loss will never cease.

Another one of our family cats we lost was our second cat BUDDY. Please visit his page also.
