Lawanna Brasher, 87, of Alma, Arkansas passed away on Monday, November 5, 2012 in a local nursing home.
She was a member of Dyer United Methodist Church, a retired Lab Technician for Allen Canning Company and a homemaker.
She was born October 27, 1925 in Dyer, Arkansas to the late Lee and Minnie (Warrick) Winfrey.
Survivors include her husband, William (Doc) Brasher of the home; two sons, Dockey Brasher and wife Linda of Dyer, AR and Danny Brasher and wife Diane of Alma, AR; 3 Grandchildren; 6 Great Grandchildren; 3 Step Grandchildren and 8 Step Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A. M. Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with interment in Dyer Cemetery.
The family will visit with friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P. M. Wednesday evening at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, 917 Hwy. 64 East, Alma, AR.
Pallbearers will be Zack Brasher, Dockey Brasher IV, Scott McDonald, Bradley McGhee, Matthew Shores and Ronnie Reed.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dick Douglas, Jake Dyer, Donald Whitaker, Ronnie Milsap, Jessie V. Weese, Johnny Aldridge and Sammy Whitlock.
