Daughter of Roy & Stella Ecklebarger Gray, wife of Chester Sam Havens


Juanita Mae Havens, 73, of 303 Hockenhull, died Friday evening, Jan. 5, at Passavant Hospital.

She was born March 16, 1916, in Naples, the daughter of Roy and Stella Ecklebarger Gray. She married Silas Chester Havens who preceded her in death.

She is survived by three sons, Eldred Smith of Bluffs, Michael Havens of Jacksonville and Kenneth Havens of Princeton, Ind.; seven daughters, Barbara Deppe of Andrew, N. C., Norma Crawford, Sandra Havens and Sharon Havens, all of Jacksonville, Wanda Brundage of Bagley, Minn., Patsy Boker of Killeen, Texas, and Brenda Crain of White Hall; a sister, Cynthia Sayre of Burlington, Iowa; 26 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Eliza Brown.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Williamson Funeral Home, with burial in Jacksonville East Cemetery. Family will meet friends from noon until time of services on Tuesday.
