Rock Musician. Gained permanent Rock and Roll fame for being the bassist in "The Jimi Hendrix Experience" in the 1960s. He played bass on the band's three classic albums: "Are You Experienced" (1967), "Axis: Bold As Love" (1967) and "Electric Ladyland" (1968). In 1992, Redding was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of The Jimi Hendrix Experience
