Mrs. Nina H. Edmiston, of Ashville RD, formerly of Altoona, died at 1:05 a.m. yesterday in Mercy Hospital after an extended illness. She was born in Altoona April 29, 1890, a daughter of Harry and Mary (Johnson) Whiteman, and married Roy F. Edmiston.
Surviving are her husband, seven children. Leroy R. of Pittsburgh. Mrs. Helen K. Burke and Mrs. Marian A. Acker of Altoona, Donald N. of Jacksonville, Fla.. Mrs. Alwilda I.. Beck of Loretto, Eugene B. of Bellwood and Allen I,, of Alexandria, Va.; 24 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and one brother, Richard R. of the city.
She was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church. Friends will be received at the Stevens Mortuary after 7 p.m. today.
