Mr. Fastiggi, who died Monday in Overlook Hospital, Summit, was a cabinet maker with the Furniture Craft Co., Springfield, for 34 years before retiring. He was a member of the Carpenters Union Local 821.
Mr. Fastiggi was a member of the Italian Social Club, Ieri, Oggi and Domani in Rutherford.
Born in Calitri, Italy, he lived in East Orange before moving to Maplewood in 1971.
Surviving are his wife, Catherine; two sons, Michael and Mario; a brother, Mario, and a sister, Mrs. Josephine Lampariello.
