John Jacob, Age 16, of Newry, was accidentally shot and instantly killed about 3:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon by a hunting partner. They had been rabbit hunting. Coroner Blackburn concluded no need for an inquest.
John Weir is survived by his parents and three sisters. The funeral took place this afternoon with interment in Carson Valley Cemetery.
