Pookie was a featherless baby and had to be spoon fed when I bought her. I would run home on lunch hour to make sure she ate at the right time. It was exciting when she started getting her feathers. She was a very sweet girl, had a volcabulary of about 25 words. I lost her Valentines night when there was no vet avilable. She hadn't been sick, it was a mystery. I have still not gotten over the trauma of her death. Pookie and I were together more years than I spent with any other living creature. I am greatful for the years we had and miss her very much. She was such a sweetie! I love you Pook!
