He was born on the family farm in Stacyville, Penobscot and lived there his entire, short life.
On 6 Mar 1907, he married Rose S. Dill, daughter of Ira B. and Martha S. (Peavy) Dill of Stacyville, Maine. His first daughter, Mary C. Gerald was born in 1908.
Unfortunately, David died at the young age of 34, on 19 Apr 1908, suffering from Convulsions. His second daughter, Margaret Alice was born six months later, in October 1909.
David is buried in Tracy Cemetery. He was the first of the family to be buried here, to be joined eventually by his parents and youngest brother, George.
