Purchase two: 372 acres in Henrico County, adjoining Gilbert Elam, Clary, Belcher, and Nunnery, on the Run of the Deep Creek. 40 Shillings. 1 December 1748. Book 27, p. 55. According to records, John and Elizabeth had about ten children. John died in about 1754. The ten children were: William, Joseph, Isham, Hudson, Henry, Norvell, Matthew, Amy, Elizabeth, and Elisha. Our line was Ralph, John, Hudson, Jesse, John, Cornelius... and so on.
