Dr. Willis Wyatt Dickie was the son of Willis W. Dickie (b 13 Sept in Va - d Feb 1866 in Walker Co TX) and his wife Margaret Barry Crook. Dr. Dickie married Bettie F. Turpin on 22 Dec 1864, and they had five children.

Dr. Willis W. Dickie served in Company D, 10th Alabama Infantry Regiment as Assistant Surgeon. He was wounded at the Second Battle of Manassas 8/30/1862.
