Eleanor Glass was the daughter of Enoch Jones, who is also buried in Rio Baptist Cemetery, and the 3rd wife of Calvin Glass who is buried in Henderson Cemetery. They married late in life, and all of Calvin Glass' children were born by his first two wives, Lura d. 1836, and Catherine, d. 1866.

Eleanor and Calvin married on 11 Oct 1867. He was age 73 and she was probably about age 68-9. When they married, her name was listed as Mrs. Eleanor Thomas on the marriage record. Her first husband might have John Thomas, who died in Jan 1854 in Grant Co., KY.

Eleanor's birth and death dates are unknown. Based on unreliable data, like the census, she was probably born about 1799, probably in Duck Creek Hundred near Smyrna. Based on a 1799 birth year, her death would have occurred about 1878.
