Enlisted at Dale, 2/18/1865; mustered out 9/4/1865. It appears that Capt. Young had earlier been a 1st Lt. in Co. I, 32nd Wisconsin Infantry. This company also consisted of many men from the Dale/Medina area, several of whom are also buried at South Medina Cemetery.
