"Gary Bruhn was a neighbor of mine and I knew him all of his short life. Gary was born on August 21, 1949. He died October 24, 1969.

Gary was drafted into the U.S Army during the Vietnam War and became an Army medic. He was killed in action on October 24, 1969 in Phuoc Long, South Vietnam. He was killed by an enemy rocket explosion.

Gary was an extremely likeable young man and his death was an extreme tragedy for all that knew him."
