-- ROCK HILL - Mrs. Kajsa Omega Coleman Barnette of 341 Friendship Drive and Charleston, S.C., departed this life on Friday, July 13, 2007, in Charleston. She was born Aug. 27, 1979 to the late Charlie Coleman and Jannette Walton in York County, S.C.
She attended York County public schools. She was a member of Mt. Zion and the Kingdom of God. She later connected with Rehobeth Ministries in Charleston. She was employed at CP & CP Printing Company as a painter.
Kajsa leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Larry Barnette Jr.; two sons, Alquavion Young of Rock Hill, S.C., and Kasion Coleman of Charleston; her parents, Jannette and Warren Walton of Rock Hill; five sisters, Scharles Thrower, Louise Mitchell, Melissa Cousar, Warquisha Michaux and Kanisha Coleman, all of Rock Hill; three brothers, Chesia Coleman, Jamelle Ruff and William Coleman, all of Rock Hill; her maternal grandmother, Ida Hope of Rock Hill; her paternal grandparents, Ernest and Doris Belton of Baltimore; her devoted companion, Tiffany Grampus of Charleston; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday, July 21, 2007 at Boyd Hill Baptist Church, with the Rev. J. T. Barber officiating, the Rev. Mary Crosby delivering the eulogy and the Rev. Stanley Wells assisting. Burial will be at Barber Memorial Cemetery.
Parker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
