Eggers, Richard Henry age 68 born March 12, 1941 died November 24, 2009. Asleep in Jesus after courageous fight with esophageal cancer. He is survived by his wife of 36 years Peggy (Garrett) Eggers Daughter Kelly Lama (Nunzio) granddaughters Nicola, and Briana Lama of Collinsville IL. Sister to Martha (Clint) Haertling of Perryville MO, brother to Fred Eggers Farrar MO, Carl (Brenda) Eggers, Calvin (Alma) Eggers Pittsburgh PA. Uncle, cousin and friend to many. Dick was a dedicated employee as an engineer at McDonnell Douglas then Boeing for 45 plus years. He served with distinction in the Army Corps of Engineers in Vietnam and was awarded a Bronze star for bridge design. A devoted member of Chapel of the Cross Lutheran, he served faithfully for 30 years as head usher and on finance committee. An avid supporter of Lutheran High School North sports teams.
