Martin Nolan, son of Peter Nolan and Mary Nolan, formerly Redmond, was born on 6 June 1875, at John Street, Wexford.
His father was recorded as a Fisherman.
Marriage
Martin Nolan, aged 25, a bachelor, a Porter, of Abbey Street, Wexford, son of Peter Nolan, a Labourer, married Annie Stafford, aged 20, a spinster, of Abbey Street, Wexford, daughter of William Stafford, a Labourer, on 27 October 1901, at St. Peter’s Church, Wexford.

In the 1911 census, the Nolan family were living at Back Street, Wexford.

They had been married 9 years and had 4 children, 2 of whom were alive.

all of the family had been born in Co. Wexford.
Death.
Martin Nolan, aged 36, married, an Army Pensioner, died on 17 July 1917, at Back Street, Wexford.
The cause of death was a Cerebral Haemorrhage, 7 hours, certified.
Note.
Martin’s stated age is incorrect. He was actually 42.
He may have reduced his age, in order to be accepted into the British Army for service in WW2.
