HMS EAGLET was a training establishment for the Royal Naval Reserve, based in Liverpool, and served a catchment area of Merseyside, North-west England and North Wales.


Possibly Matthew Doyle, whose death was registered in Waterford in 1920.




The main headstone on the plot, is for

In the 1901 census, the Doyle family were living at High Street, Waterford,
They were living over a Tinsmith's shop.
Four families, comprising 21 people lived in the building

present were,
Thomas Doyle, aged 46, a General Labourer, married, born in Co. Waterford
Mary, his wife, aged 39, a Food Picker, married,
Thomas, son, aged 15,
Mary, daughter, aged 12,
Eliza, daughter, aged 8,
Catherine, daughter, aged 6,
Mathew, son, aged 5,

Mary and all of the children had been born in Waterford City.
