She was born Sept. 26, 1899, in Milan, Indiana to William A. and Anna Enters Sutton.
Surviving are one daughter, Phyllis (and Dale) Spear of rural Lostant; two granddaughters; three greatgrandchildren; one niece; and two nephews.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Glada Brown, one son, William Paul Brown in World War II and one brother.
She formerly worked at Starved Rock Lodge and was a cook at the Magnolia 4 Corners Restaurant for more than 35 years. She was a Gold Star Mother.
She was a member of United Methodist Church in Magnolia.
Burial will be in Henry Cemetery.
