Juanita L. Harder, 60-year-old Vinita resident, passed away Monday, July 22, 2002 at St. John's Medical Center in Tulsa following an extended illness. Juanita was born February 10, 1942 in Centralia, Okla., to Loren Everett and Beulah Aline (Seals) Cook. She was a registered nurse and a homemaker. She was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary in Vinita and the Women of the Moose in Artesia, N.M.

Juanita was united in marriage to Leonard Harder, Sr. on March 28, 1975 at San Barnardino, Calif. She and Leonard moved back to the Vinita area in July of 1995 from Artesia, N.M. He preceded her in death on Aug. 10 1998. Her parents, one daughter, Lorna Kay Robinson, one sister, Loretta Hite, and one brother, Clarence Lee Cook also preceded her in death. Since her passing other brothers Cecil Cook of Riverside, Calif., Charlie Cook of Colton, Calif., Lawrence Cook of Rialto, Calif., have passed away as well
She is survived by two sons, Brian K. Harder of Vinita; Leonard B. Harder, Jr. and wife, Hope, Of Orlando Florida; Two brothers, Loren Cook of Redlands, and Carl Cook of San Barnardino, Calif.; five grandchildren, Jeffrey Harder, Timothy William Harder, Nicholas Harderd Kareena Taleese Harder, and Tabitha Harder, she also had host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 26, 2002 at the Fairview Cemetery, Vinita. Cecil L Cook did officiate. Services are under the direction of Burckhalter
