Jessie Lee Estes Chapman, 91, Glasgow , died Wednesday, March 10, 2004 , at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital . A native of Missouri , she was a daughter of the late Sam and Lula Johnson Estes and had been a lifelong resident of Barren County . She was a homemaker and a member of the Little Bethel Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Geraldine Denison and Wanda Hanking and her husband, James, all of Glasgow ; one son, Fidel "Jack" Chapman, Jr. and his wife, Frances, of Haywood; three grandchildren, Steve Chapman and his wife, Darlene, Debbie Wood and her husband, Tommy, all of Glasgow, and Tim Denison of Louisville; nine great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Samuel Estes of Indiana and Leamon Estes of Bowling Green; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fidel Chapman, Sr.; one great-granddaughter, Stephanie Chapman; one son-in-law, Damon Denison; one great-grandson-in-law, Joey Thomason; one brother, Woodrow Estes; six sisters, Hazel Turner, Laura Turner, Mabel Brownfield, Blanche Brownfield, Janie Lou Nichols and Betty Jean Brown.
