FARRAGUT, Tenn. -- Irene Frances Berry, 99, of Farragut, Tenn., formerly of Guin, Ala., died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2003, at Baptist Health Care in Lenoir City, Tenn. She was born in Barren County, the daughter of the late Eugene and Mary Susan Vance Jackman. She was a homemaker and long time member of First Baptist Church in Guin, Ala. She is survived by a daughter Betty Berry Kirkland and husband Oscar of Farragut, Tenn.; a sister, Mable Ford of Deland, Fla.; grandchildren: Melony Williams and husband Bob Goodhand of Milford, Mich.; Shan Williams and wife Beth of Nashville, Tenn.; Whitney Sharp and husband John of Maryville, Tenn.; sister-in-law, Jewell Jackman of Glasgow; a nephew: Franklin Berry Jr. and wife Mary Ann of Bowling Green; and seven great-grandchildren. Her husband, Arie Berry; brothers Will, Chester, Mitchell, and Russell Jackman; and sisters, Pearl Harlow and Vassie Ruth Martin preceded her in death. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 10 a.m. until time for services.
