Dora Lewis Bennett, 89, Glasgow, died Tuesday, April 19, 2011, at her residence. A native of Barren County, she was the daughter of the late Chris and Jessie Mae Everett Lewis. She was a retired seamstress at Handmacher Fashions and a member of Browder's Chapel Baptist Church.
She is survived by numerous family members including one sister-in-law, Mary Helen Pedigo of Glasgow, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond C. Bennett, and one brother, Ernest Lewis.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens.
