Albert R. "Dick" Countryman, 75, of West Lafayette, Ohio passed away at Mercy Medical Center in Canton on Saturday May 26, 2012.

Dick was born in Warsaw, Ohio on March 21, 1937; he served in the United States Navy and retired from General Electric in Coshocton. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing, working in his garden and planting flowers.

He is survived by his most dedicated, loving and loyal friends to the end, when no one else was there she was constantly by his side, Angela M. Rotruck and Sam A. Moore; four children, numerous grandchildren; two sisters June Kizser and Daisy R. Cornelius both of West Lafayette; a brother David J. Countryman of Coshocton; several nieces and nephews.

Per Dick's wishes, a cremation will take place with a memorial service to be held at a later date.
