A native of Cumberland County, he was the son of the late Franklin and Regina Bryant Baise.
He was a farmer, having been employed by David Read and Roger Payne Farms, a United States Army veteran, and a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include one son, Dean Baise of Glasgow; two daughters, Stacy Schooley and Joanna Baise of Glasgow; one step-daughter, Martha Gibbons of Glasgow; three grandchildren, Amanda Baise, Amy Tarry, and Kyle Young; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Rachel Ramsey Baise.
Funeral services will be held 7:00 p.m. Thursday with cremation to follow.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
