Charles Frank "Chuck" Fisher of Greencastle, PA., died Sunday, October 14, 2012 at NMS HealthCare in Hagerstown.
Born August 3, 1953 in Washington, DC, he was the son of Marie I Salvaterra Fisher of Willingboro, NJ, and the late Russell E. Fisher.
Mr. Fisher worked as a dry wall installer in the construction field. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Paul Fisher, and wife, Elizabeth, also of Greencastle; grandson, Caiden Fisher; daughter, Crystal Stouter and granddaughters, Brooke Wiles and Laken Stouter, all of Hagerstown; siblings, Donna Castle and husband, Gary, of Smithsburg; Russell Fisher and wife, Virginia, of Myersville; Dorothy Bova and husband, Danny, of Shenandoah, PA; David Fisher, Sr., and wife, Linda, of Martinsburg, W.Va.; Rose Wivell and husband, Roy, of Emmitsburg; Nancy Fisher and husband, Dave Rosenberg of Willingboro, NJ; Lynn Fisher of Frederick; Annabelle Toms of Thurmont; and Anna (Rhea) Fisher and wife, Cheryl Thompson, of Pocomoke; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Paul Fisher, Robert Fisher and Jimmy Fisher.
The family will receive friends for a memorial gathering from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Stauffer Funeral Home, P.A., 104 E. Main Street, Thurmont.
