Satmar Pedro Colmenares
-- Mr. Colmenares, age 33, of Charlotte, NC, died Friday March 5, 2010. He was born in Caracas, Venezuela on July 3, 1976. He was a son of Saturno and Maria (Tomasa) Colmenares of Charlotte. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m Saturday March 13, 2010 at First Baptist Church, 119 N. Old Statesville Road, Huntersville, NC with the Rev Saturnio Colmenares and Rev. Christopher Harbin officiating. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. Burial will be at Crown Memorial Park in Pineville, NC at 3:00 p.m. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Huntersville, NC and was a member of the volunteer Fire Department in Pineville, NC. He was known as a young entrepreneur. He owned several businesses in the Charlotte area. He owned and operated Quality Maintenance Company of Charlotte, NC for eight years. He enjoyed wind surfing, motor cross, paint ball and flying. In addition to his parents, he is survived by one son, Satmar Colmenares, Jr. of Charlotte: three daughters, Kiersten Colmenares and Maria Belinda Colmenares, both of Charlotte, NC, and Britney Marie Colmenares of Venezuela; also his girl friend, Olga Rivera; a cousin , Edgar Cedeno; six of his dearest friends, Ting Chung Yan, Kenneth De Palm, Rafael Hernandez, Jonathan Posso, Paul Crawford, and Freddy Cicilia; the Serna Family, the Gustowski Family and the Colmenares and Montilla Families in Venezuela; and his other friends. Crown Funeral Service is assisting the family.
