-- Jayla Nydia Simpson-Lindsay Baby girl Jayla, of 8907 Legacy Park Drive, Charlotte, passed at Carolinas Medical Center May 5, 2009. The funeral will be on Tuesday, May 12, 2009, at 2 p.m. with visitation at 1 p.m. at the Church of Christ, 4530 Beatties Ford Road. Burial will be in Crown Memorial Park, Pineville. Jayla was born September 27, 2006 to Miss Elizabeth Simpson and Mr. Bryant Lindsay, both of Charlotte. Also surviving is her brother, Tristian Simpson of the home; grandparents, Deacon & Mrs. Henry Simpson, Mr. & Mrs. Calvin Lindsay, 3 great grand-mothers, 4 uncles, and 1 aunt; a host of cousins, therapists, specialists, in-home nursing, staff members of Presbyterian Hospital and the Church of Christ.
