-- The funeral for Mrs. Elizabeth Abercrombie Bramlett of 213 Laurens St. NW will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 19, at Barron Funeral Home. The Rev. William R. Kinnett will officiate and burial will follow in Chester Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Bramlett, 78, died Monday, March 16, 2009, at Aiken Regional Medical Center.

Born in Laurens County on Sept. 6, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Clarence Oneal and Nannie Marlar Abercrombie. A graduate of Mauldin High School and Drones Business College in Greenville, Mrs. Bramlett was a retired secretary with the Department of Social Services for the State of S.C.

Survivors include a daughter, Vicki B. Rutland and her husband, Jim, of Aiken; a son, Donald J. Kinnett and his wife, Rebecca, of Austin, Texas; and four grandchildren, Erin R. Geier and her husband, James, of Columbia, Taylor B. Rutland and his wife, Heather, of Rock Hill and James Edward Bramlett Kinnett and Nolan Luke Kinnett, both of Austin, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Bramlett; and a daughter and son-in-law, Wanda Bramlett Kinnett and Randy.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 pm. Thursday at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St.
