Infant Burton died at birth on the morning of March 4, 2009, at Piedmont Medical Center.
Survivors in addition to his parents include his maternal grandmother, Angela Patterson of Lenoir; his paternal grandparents, Jimmy and Cindy Richardson of Chester; and his great-grandmothers, Patricia Cornwall of Chesapeake, Va. and Tommie Douglas of Chester.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Jack Patterson and Ronnie Burton.
