-- The funeral for Mrs. Harriette Mae Caston Boulware of 1111 Dogwood Lane will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. The Rev. Michael Shaffer will officiate and burial will follow in Chester Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Boulware, 73, died Monday, Sept. 8, 2008, at Chester Regional Nursing Center.

Born in York County on Dec. 16, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Walter and Mattie Orr Caston. A homemaker, Mrs. Boulware attended school in Chester County and devoted much of her life to working with Salvation Army Camp Walter Johnson. It was there she became known as "Munner." She was also a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Cleve Boulware Jr.; a daughter, Denise C. Lawson and her husband, Mike, of Chester; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Vivian Bishop and Lynda Miller, both of Chester; and two brothers, Joe Caston of Chester and Wayne Caston of Fountain Inn. She was preceded in death by a son, Grover C. Hut Boulware III; and three sisters, Betty C. Connor, Jean C. McWatters and Loree C. Lunkenheimer.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St., Chester.

Memorials may be made to Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, 1217 J.A. Cochran Bypass, Chester or to Hospice Care of S.C., 179 Columbia St., Chester.
