-- CHESTER -- The funeral for Mrs. Marie Dickerson Baker Brawley of 168 Pinckney St. was conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, at Parkway Baptist Church. The Rev. R.B. Ashley officiated and burial followed in Chester Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Brawley, 95, died Friday, Nov. 16, 2007, at Chester Regional Medical Center.

Born in Fairfield County on Sept. 1, 1912, she was a daughter of the late William Lyles Dickerson and Elizabeth Dean Dickerson. A member of Parkway Baptist Church, Mrs. Brawley was formerly employed with Springs Industries and the Chester County Nursing Center.

Survivors include a daughter, Donna B. Ehrlich and her husband, Terry, of Chester; two grandchildren, Travis B. Jenkins and his wife, Ashley, of Union and Lynly Ehrlich of Burbank, Calif.; a sister, Myrtle Robinson of Anderson; several nieces and nephews; and her caregiver, Daisy McClurkin.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Eustace Baker; and her second husband, Charles Blackburn Brawley.

Memorials may be made to Parkway Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1227, Chester.
