-- ROCK HILL Died at home on Sat., July 31, 2010, at 90 years of age...born July 6, 1920, in Clarkson, Ky. (Grayson County), to Sudie Bell Harvey and Paul McGee Landram...Mother was the last of her family to bear the Landram name. She was proud to have graduated when she was 16 years old as Valedictorian of Drakesboro High School, Ky. She left her hometown of Drakesboro to attend Business College of Louisville and was proud to have worked over 25 years as an executive secretary for Corhart Refractories of Louisville, Ky., retiring with them. She was a member of Fourth Avenue Methodist Church of Louisville, and later Saint Johns United Methodist Church in Rock Hill.

Momma was talented in many areas but excelled in her baking/candy making and needlework, worthy of awards. She was an avid reader and reveled in politics, being a staunch Republican.

She leaves behind daughter, Nancy Ann Grant Ping (Glenn) of the home, and daughter, Sue Ellen Grant Lewis (Wayne) of Rock Hill. She was Mimi to five grandchildren, Cheri Lewis Beckham (Mark), Michele Ping Hinson, Kimberly Lewis (deceased), Mitzi Ping Onessi (Carlo) and Michael Ping (Holly); and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her favorite nephew and his wife, Paul Anthony and Ollie Isaac, and their two daughters of Richmond, Va.
Mimi's family will honor her life in a private family burial.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 481 Hood Center Dr.; Hospice & Community Care, 2275 India Hook Rd.; St. Johns United Methodist Church Children's Ministry, 321 S. Oakland Ave.; or St Anne's Catholic Parish, 1694 Bird St., all in Rock Hill, S.C.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday, Aug. 2, at 1120 Woodland Drive.
