Tsgt.Alejandro Ayala of Riverside, California began his fascination with the military at Arlington High School, where he served with the ROTC. He graduated in 1999 and immediately joined the Air Force. He loved the Air Force and talked of making it his career. Alejandro had basic training at Lackland Air Force Base and then was assigned to Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in North Carolina, where he met his future wife. The two were married in 2003 in Moreno Valley. He died of injuries sustained as a result of a vehicle accident in Kuwait at age 26.
