It is not known for certain where Frogger came from, but most likely she was from the near neighbor around the southwest corner from the Nielsen's and a short travel down the fence and into the Nielsen's backyard. It was very near the time that neighbor passed away on August 15, 2013. Frogger's birth year is unknown so the year is an estimate.

She was a mature cat, probably middle-aged or entering her elder years. From the first meeting I found her to be friendly and outgoing. The mature resident female and mostly outdoor cat, Paws, seemed accepting and they tolerated each other fairly well. In Frogger's first health crises a few years later, I believe Paws saved her life by letting Frogger come into and share her cubby for warmth. It was found that Frogger's body temperature was sub-normal and the Veterinarian administered supportive therapy and ran tests, but with no clear diagnosis. Frogger was moderately better afterwards but never seemed fully restored.

The year 2016 found both Frogger and Paws showing significant signs of aging with a noticeable loss of agility and vigor. When the weather cooled in the fall, they slept nights in a spare bedroom indoors and weather permitting, enjoyed the warmth of daytimes outside. Though both were declining, Frogger needed assistance to stay warm and retain her body heat, so her people provided a heated cubby which she readily used and kept her comfortable until she passed.
